Waterproof Blonde was a rock band based in Louisville, Kentucky. Officially, Rachel Hagan provided vocals while Jeffrey Smith was the bassist and songwriter. When the band disbanded, they had no rhythm guitarist or drummer after their sixth guitarist Adam Dennison and third drummer Richard Vier had left the band.
In 2003, they released an EP entitled Glitter Lust.
They provided the theme songs for former WWE wrestler Sean O'Haire in 2003 and WWE wrestler Christian in 2004. Sean O'Haire's theme was titled "Come On", and Christian's theme was titled "Just Close Your Eyes".
In 2005, they released an album entitled The Morning After the Night Before.
In mid 2005, on their MySpace profile, Jeffrey posted that Waterproof Blonde is over for now.
In early 2007 Waterproof Blonde posted a new video on their official site and their MySpace for "Hold Me Down".
